The Ascension

For Thursday's holyday of obligation we have two Masses.

11.00 a.m. Sacred Heart chapel, Broughton Hall, Skipton

5.00 p.m. St. Joseph's, Pakington Street, Bradford

Reminder that Mgr. Newton will be offering Mass according to the Rite of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham on Saturday at 3.00 p.m. at St. Joseph's, Bradford.

Busy week ahead

This Sunday is the fifth after Easter and we have our two Masses:

11.00 a.m. Sacred Heart, Broughton Hall, Skipton

12.30 p.m. St. Joseph's, Pakington Street, Bradford This Mass will be followed

Thursday is the holyday of obligation Ascension Thursday and not Ascension Thursday Sunday. Again we have two Masses:

11.00 a.m. Sacred Heart, Broughton Hall, Skipton

5.00 p.m. St. Joseph's, Pakington Street, Bradford

Confessions at call.

On Saturday there is a great occasion for our friends of the Ordinariate of our Lady of Walsingham as its Ordinary, Mgr Newton visits St. Joseph's.

Next Ordinariate Rite Mass

June 1 @ 3:00 pm

3.00 p.m. on Saturday 1st June at St. Joseph's, Pakington Street, Bradford.

The celebrant will be Mgr Keith Newton, Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.

ALL are welcome to the Mass and to refreshments in the presbytery afterwards when there will be the opportunity to meet the ordinary.

Easter IV

This weekend we are back to the regular schedule and Pentecost is on the horizon. There are three Masses for the fourth Sunday after Easter:

8.00 a.m. St. Anne's Cathedral, Cookridge Street, Leeds
11.00 a.m. Sacred Heart, Broughton Hall, Skipton
12.30 p.m. St. Joseph's, Pakington Street, Bradford

IMPORTANT

Please note that there will be NO Mass at St. Joseph's on Sunday - this is an absolute one off and so apologies for any inconvenience caused. There is of course Mass at Sacred Heart, Broughton Hall for the third Sunday after Easter at 11.00 a.m.
Normal schedule will resume next week.
